Angela Dawn (Smith) Grider

Angela Dawn (Smith) Grider, age 64, of Yellowpine, Texas, passed away Thursday, August 14, 2025.

Angie was born June 26, 1961, in Bay City, Texas, to parents Robert Glyn and Virginia Smith. She was the oldest of three daughters.

Her survivors include her parents, Robert Glyn and Virginia Smith of Yellowpine; her son, Dylan Grider of San Diego, California; her daughter, Chassidy Sutton and husband, Gary, of San Diego, California; granddaughters, Hannah Contreras and Kayleigh Sutton; great-grandchildren, Ava and Mateo Contreras; and nephews, Robert Frazier and wife, Ashley, and Tyler Anderson and wife, Christina.

She was preceded in death by her sisters, Kathy Anderson and Terry Williams; a niece, Wendy Frazier; and a nephew, Rodney Dale Frazier.

A Celebration of Life Service is being planned for 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 30, 2025, at Yellowpine Baptist Church, intersection of Hwy. 87 South and FM 2343 in Sabine County's Yellowpine community.
