Angela Marie (Mincher) Shaffer

Angela Marie (Mincher) Shaffer, age 61, of San Augustine County, Texas, passed away Sunday, November 16, 2025, at her residence.

She was born August 17, 1964, in Arlington, Texas, to parents Linda (Benson) and Curtiss Ray Mincher. She had lived in the San Augustine/Broaddus area for the past several years.

Her survivors include sons, James Bird and Thomas Bird, grandchildren Trevor Bird, Kiley Madrid, Alicia Wilson, Megan Bird, along with a host of other family, friends, and neighbors.

She was preceded in death by her father, Curtiss Ray Mincher; mother, Linda Heikkinen; and her brother, Kevin Thomas Mincher.

A Celebration of Life is being planned, and details will be announced later.
