Anita Sue (Hensarling) Taylor

Mrs. Anita Sue (Hensarling) Taylor, age 83, of Longview passed away Saturday, May 25, 2024, at Summer Meadows in Longview.

"Sue" was born June 9, 1940, in San Augustine County to parents Lamar and Fern (Pate) Hensarling. She had lived in Longview for a number of years and retired from Southwestern Bell with 42 years of service. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church.

Sue was married on August 5, 1964, to William Carroll "Bo" Taylor. He preceded her in death on April 19, 2018. She was also preceded in death by her parents.

Her survivors include her son, Scott Taylor and wife Melanie of Longview; grandchildren, Merrick Taylor and Madison Taylor of Longview; and brothers, Ronald Hensarling and Clifford Hensarling and wife Nelda, all of San Augustine.

A graveside service is set for 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 30, 2024, at Attoyac Cemetery, located at 600 FM 3316 in San Augustine County, Texas.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial gifts to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
