Mr. Bryan William Blue of San Augustine, Texas, passed away Monday, December 5, 2022, at the age of 33 years, 8 months, and 28 days.
Bryan was born March 8, 1989, in Center, Texas, to parents Venita (Horne) and William "Bill" Blue. A 2007 graduate of San Augustine High School, he was a lifelong area resident and was working as a truck driver with Cur Dog Trucking in San Augustine. He also owned Pik 'N Stix Tattoos and B&G Construction.
His survivors include his mother and step-father, Venita and David Horton of Tenaha, Texas; children, Joshua Blue, Jaycob Blue, and Ryan Mutters; brother, Josh Blue and wife Maranda of Silsbee, Texas; step-sister, Candace Hendrick and husband Patrick of Timpson, Texas; grandfather, Willie R. Horne of San Augustine, Texas; nieces and nephews; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bill Blue; grandparents, Bernice (Pickard) and John Daniel Blue, and Helen Horne; and an uncle, James Blue.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Saturday, December 10, 2022, at Wyman Roberts Funeral Home in San Augustine.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 11, 2022, at the San Augustine County Cowboy Church with Rev. Sherry Harding and Moochie Cleveland officiating. Committal services and interment will follow at the Chumley Cemetery, located on County Road 127.
Pallbearers: Josh Blue, Johnnie Hodge, Little John Hodge, Patrick Hendrick, Jacob Horne, Steven Sowell, Wesley Smith, and Justin Griffin. Honorary pallbearers: Jimmy Horne, Billy Wayne Horne, Alan Horne, Scott Sowell, John Blue, Jeffery Harding, Brent Denby, Moochie Cleveland, Travis Garrett, and his cousins.
