Carlyon Ann Lynch

Carlyon Ann Lynch of San Augustine, Texas, passed away Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at her residence at the age of 74 years, 8 months, 26 days.

She was born March 24, 1949, in San Augustine County, Texas, to parents Lillian (Dean) and Russell Lynch. Carlyon was a lifelong area resident and worked at local restaurants as a waitress. 

Her survivors include her husband, Floyd Whiteside of San Augustine, Texas; a son, Donald Ray Sanders and wife Glenda of Chandler, Texas; daughter, Lendy Sanders of Carthage, Texas; her brother, Charles Lynch and wife Valda of Port Barre, Louisiana; a sister, Liz McCauley and husband Larry of San Augustine, Texas; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Lillian Lynch; grandson David Andrew Sanders.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, January 20, 2024, at the San Augustine City Cemetery, with Rev. Tim Turner officiating.
