Mr. Charles S. “Buck” Zerangue, age 83, of Bronson, Texas, passed away Sunday, January 14, 2024, at his residence.
He was born April 25, 1940, in Port Barre, Louisiana, to parents Joseph W. and Mabel (Metrejean) Zerangue. Buck served his country in the U.S. Army and then worked several years as a truck driver before his retirement. He had lived in the Bronson area for a number of years and was a member of St. Pius I Catholic Church.
His survivors include his daughter, Lynette Zerangue; sons, Charles Steve Zerangue Jr. and John Wayne Zerangue; sisters, Patsy Martin, Peggy Hoelzer, Audriene Miguez, and Charlene Wilson; grandchildren, Jacob Butler, Ashlyn Zerangue, Austin Zerangue, and Maya Zerangue; and three great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at St. Pius I Catholic Church, located at the corner of Hwy. 184 and Barber Street in Hemphill, Texas.
