Mrs. Connie Eddings Ford, age 68, of Chireno, a former longtime San Augustine County resident, passed away Monday, Oct. 2, 2023, at her residence.
Connie was born Jan. 2, 1955, in San Augustine County to parents O.J. and Alma (Graham) Eddings. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star as well a member of Rosevine Baptist Church. She worked several years as a nurse.
Her survivors include her husband, Spicer Ford Sr. of Chireno; daughter, Stacey Burks and husband Greg of Chireno; son, Spicer Ford and wife Melanie of Pineland; sisters, Julie Arndt of Rusk and Geraldine Eddings of San Augustine; brother, Gaylon Eddings of San Augustine; and her grandchildren, Blane Ford, Adelaine Ford, Lukas Burks, and Hank Burks.
She was preceded in death by her parents, O.J. and Alma Eddings; and a brother, Robert Eddings.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 5, 2023, at Wyman Roberts Funeral Home, located at 316 W. Columbia Street in San Augustine.
Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the Wyman Roberts Memorial Chapel with Bro. Joe Caraway and Bro. Jim Whitton officiating. Interment will follow at McMahan's Chapel Cemetery in Sabine County.
