Danny Leland Garsee, age 70, of San Augustine, Texas, went to be with his Lord and Savior November 19, 2024, at his residence surrounded by his family.
He was born January 11, 1954, in Center, Texas, to parents Leland Hildrege "Jack" Garsee and Nona Belle (Collard). He lived all his life in the San Augustine area. He worked as a truck driver, auto body specialist and owner of Danny Garsee Automotive. He loved spending time with his family, working on cars and riding motorcycles. He also loved the family dog Precious also know as "chicken dog".
Those left to cherish his memories are daughters Crystal Lewis and husband Jeremy of Nacogdoches, Leah Garsee and husband Jose Pablo of San Augustine, Anna Borgstede and husband Brent of Covington, La.; son Derek Garsee and wife Kimberly of Covington La.; sister Cathy Sanders and husband Wayne of Nacogdoches; grandchildren Kailyn Benefield and husband Dillon, Cade Lewis, Jayden Lewis, Kodie Lewis, Leo Pablo, Sebastion Pablo, Alex Garsee, Nathan Garsee, Kadie Garsee, Riley Garsee, Allison Borgstede, Michael Garsee, Jameson Borgstede, Juliet Borgstede; great-grandchild Elayna King. Special nephew Kyle Sanders and wife Autumn; great-niece Madeline Sanders. A host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Leland Hildrege "Jack" and Nona Belle (Collard) Garsee; brothers John Wayne Garsee and Donny Marion Garsee; grandparents Doc and Pearl Garsee, Ralph and Nellie Collard.
Visitation is planned for Sunday, November 24, 2024, 1:00-2:00pm, with service beginning at 2:00pm, at Wyman Roberts Funeral Home, 316 West Columbia, San Augustine, Texas, officiating will be Bro. Dennis Thacker. Burial will follow at Thomas Cemetery, San Augustine County, Texas.
Pallbearers include Cade Lewis, Leo Pablo, Sebastion Pablo, Alex Garsee, Nathan Garsee, Kyle Sanders.
