Darwin O. Stroud

Mr. Darwin O. Stroud, age 83, passed away Saturday, April 8, 2023, in San Augustine, Texas.

Mr. Stroud was born January 21, 1940, in Sabine County to parents O.C. and Lois (Hallmark) Stroud. He enjoyed hunting and had worked in pipeline construction. He was a longtime resident of Sabine and San Augustine Counties.

His survivors include a sister, Sylvia Ferguson Napier and husband John of Hemphill; a brother, Horace Stroud and wife Janet of Vidor, Texas; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, O.C. and Lois Stroud.

Graveside services are set for 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 10, 2023, at Gravel Hill Cemetery, located on FM 1592 in Sabine County, Texas, with Bro. Joe Caraway officiating.
