Debbie Myatt Arnold, age 65, of Hemphill passed away Thursday, September 28, 2023, at Sabine County Hospital in Hemphill.
Mrs. Arnold was born November 24, 1957, in Nederland, Texas, to parents Bernice Marie (Erwin) and Samuel Bearl Myatt and had been a longtime resident of the Hemphill area. She was a member of the Church of God and enjoyed Bible studies and discussions. Debbie enjoyed sewing and quilting as well as other craft activities. She had lots of fun playing computer games and found great joy in gardening and tending flowers.
Her survivors include her daughter, Kate Marie Arnold and fiance Justin Daniel Johnson of Geneva; son, Terry Lee Arnold and wife Kelsey Anne Arnold of Geneva; grandchildren, Christopher James Gregory, Sarah Lynette Arnold, Tommy Lee Arnold, and twins Katie Estelle Arnold and Debbie Joyce Arnold; her former husband, Tommy Arnold; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Bernice Marie Godkin; father, Samuel Bearl Myatt; a son, Tommy Douglas Arnold; and brothers, John Myatt, Bill Myatt, Claude Myatt, and Thomas Myatt.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday, October 2, 2023, at Wyman Roberts Funeral Home chapel in San Augustine with Bro. Sonny Scarborough officiating.
The family will begin receiving friends at 1:00 p.m. Monday, October 2, 2023, at the funeral home for visitation.
Interment will be at the Hemphill City Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Terry Arnold, Justin Johnson, Christopher Gregory, Tommy Arnold, Michael Lowe, and Sonny Lowe.
