Debra Louise Smith

Debra Louise Smith, age 65, of Broaddus, Texas, passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at her residence.

Debra was born November 6, 1960, in Joplin, Missouri, to parents Frankie (Rogers) and William Powell. She was a former longtime resident of the Orange, Texas, area before recently making her home at Lake Sam Rayburn near Broaddus, Texas.

Her survivors include her husband, Jerry Lynn Smith; a daughter, Lana Prine; her son, Narrin Hargrave; a sister, Angie Hawkins; a brother, Billy Powell; and other relatives, friends, and loved ones.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister.

Debra's family will be holding a Celebration of Life at a later date.
