Donald Lee Carden

Mr. Donald Lee Carden, age 82, of San Augustine County, Texas, passed away Sunday, Sept. 12, 2021, at his residence.

"Don" was born Sept. 29, 1938, in Terrell, Texas, and had been a longtime resident of Galveston County before moving to San Augustine County 25 years ago. He retired as an electrician and was a U.S. Air Force veteran. Don enjoyed working on jets while in the Air Force. He was a member of the American Legion as well as the Harley Owners Group.

His survivors include his wife, Laura Eveland; a son, Scott Carden and his children, Zachary and Allison; step-son, J.R. Eveland, his wife Emma and daughter Jaycee; step-son, William Hurst, his wife Holly, and sons Bryce, Casen, Tye, and Hudson; as well his brothers and sisters.

Private services will be held in October at the Carden family property.
