Donna Lee Goudy

Mrs. Donna Lee Goudy of Etoile, Texas, passed away Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at a Houston hospital at the age of 82 years, 8 months, 30 days.

Mrs. Goudy was born September 26, 1941, in New Cumberland, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, to parents Evelyn (Sipe) Goho and Edgar Goho. She had formerly been a longtime resident of Broaddus before relocating to Etoile in recent years. 

A member of the Baptist church, Mrs. Goudy was a faithful Christian and loved caring for her family. She enjoyed reading, puzzles, and games as well as working with crafts. Mrs. Goudy took pride in her collection of salt and pepper shakers, which included over 2,000 sets!

Her survivors include her daughters, Christine Swarts and husband Leon of Cement, Oklahoma, and Traci Whitton and husband Samuel of Etoile; step-son, Randy Goudy Sr. and wife Stephanie of Broaddus; a step-daughter, Debbie Holley and husband Gary of Ridgeway, Virginia; 13 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Garland Goudy, in 2019; and her parents, Edgar and Evelyn Goho.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 13, 2024, at the Wyman Roberts Funeral Home chapel, located at 316 W. Columbia Street in San Augustine, Texas.
