Donnie C. Durbin

Mr. Donnie C. Durbin, age 73, of Huachuca City, Arizona, passed away Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tucson, Arizona.

A native East Texan, Donnie was born November 18, 1951, in San Augustine, Texas, to parents Roy Leon and Susie (Byrd) Durbin. He had been a longtime resident of Arizona, though many of his younger years were spent living in Pineland and Sabine County, where he graduated from West Sabine High School. Donnie worked in retail sales.

His survivors include his life partner, Earl Ashcroft of Huachuca City, Arizona; a brother, Leroy “Bud” Durbin of Beaumont, Texas; and sisters, Ronnie Luce and husband Mike of Grapeland, Texas, and Jeannie Eberlan of San Augustine, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy Leon and Susie Durbin; brothers, Benny Durbin and Kenneth Durbin; sisters, Syble Hood and Aline Sanders; and his grandparents, John and Sarah Byrd and Sam and Jennie Durbin.

Visitation will be held from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 1, 2025, at Wyman Roberts Funeral Home, located at 316 W. Columbia Street in San Augustine, Texas.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 1, 2025, at Wyman Roberts Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Shiloh Cemetery, located in Denning, Texas.
