Mr. Etoy Horne, age 92, of North Richland Hills, Texas, passed away Friday, August 13, 2021, at his residence.
Mr. Horne was a Sabine County native, born November 1, 1928, in Milam, Texas, to parents James Elton and Laura Odie (Elliott) Horne. He was a longtime resident of Tarrant County and North Richland Hills and was a member of Bethesda Community Church. In 1994, he retired as an experienced aircraft mechanic with several years of service to Bell Helicopter.
His survivors include his wife, Barbara Nell Horne of North Richland Hills, Texas; daughters, Patricia Horne Humiston of Southlake, Texas, Angela Farrar of Saginaw, Texas, and Stephanie Dawson of North Richland Hills, Texas; a sister, Barbara Sue Horne Sims of Fort Worth, Texas; grandchildren, Erica Henry of Cleburne, Texas, Hannah Librelon of Fort Worth, Texas, Chad Farrar of Saginaw, Texas, Patricia Humiston Caput of Westminister, Maryland, and Michael Patrick Humiston of Arlington, Texas; and ten great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Laura Odie Elliott Horne and James Elton Horne.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon Saturday, August 21, 2021, at Wyman Roberts Funeral Home, located at 316 W. Columbia Street in San Augustine, Texas.
Funeral services are set for 12:00 noon Saturday, August 21, 2021, at the Wyman Roberts Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at the Joel Halbert Cemetery, located on Hwy. 21 in Milam, Texas.
Pallbearers: Chad Farrar, Steve Farrar, Stephano Librelon, Michael Patrick Humiston, Lanny Neal Humiston, and Michael Shaun Caput.
