Floyd Ray Whiteside

Mr. Floyd Ray Whiteside, age 66, of San Augustine, Texas, passed away Monday, December 2, 2024, at his residence.

Mr. Whiteside was born March 7, 1958, in Lufkin, Angelina County, Texas, to parents Geraldine (Winthrop) and Billy Ray Whiteside and was a longtime resident of San Augustine County. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family, especially the grandchildren.

Floyd was a hard worker. He will be remembered for his dedication to the upkeep and operations of the County Courthouse in San Augustine in his employment by the county.

His survivors include his sons and daughters-in-law, Joey and Brooke Whiteside and Amos and Daniela Whiteside, all of Anna, Texas; four grandchildren, Brooklyn, Kylee, Emily, and Eli; along with a host of other relatives and friends.

Private arrangements are being conducted by Wyman Roberts Funeral Home in San Augustine, Texas.
