James Sheffield Obituary
Mr. James Edward Sheffield, age 85, of Broaddus, Texas, passed away Monday, December 30, 2024, at Medical City Hospital in Ft. Worth, Texas.
He was born May 31, 1939, in Nacogdoches, Texas, to parents William Edward and Myrtie (Bryan) Sheffield.
Mr. Sheffield was a former resident of the Dallas area. He worked several years for General Motors, serving as a union rep.
His survivors include his son, Wes Sheffield and his wife Melissa of Justin, Texas; and a granddaughter, Garyn Sheffield of Justin, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Edward and Myrtie Sheffield.
Services were held Friday, January 3, 2025, with interment following at Broaddus Cemetery.
Arrangements were under the direction of Wyman Roberts Funeral Home in San Augustine, Texas.
