Mrs. Jaunita Chambers Hall, age 90, of the Chinquapin community in San Augustine County, passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2023, at Legacies Care Center in Hemphill.
Mrs. Hall was born September 10, 1932, in San Augustine County to parents Cecil and Thelma (Baldree) Chambers. She was a lifetime resident of San Augustine County and dedicated herself to her family. She was a faithful servant and founding member of Chinquapin Missionary Baptist Church.
Her survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Harold and Bonita Hall and Curtis and Kathy Hall, all of San Augustine County; daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Tom Davenport of Dayton; 7 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harlon Hall; a son, Jerry Hall; parents, Cecil and Thelma Chambers; brothers, John Chambers, Tim Chambers, and Paul Chambers; and a sister, Katheryn Chambers.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Chinquapin Baptist Church, located on FM 1751.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 3, 2023, at Chinquapin Missionary Baptist Church, located on FM 1751, with Pastor Wes Little officiating. Interment will follow with committal services at Dickerson Cemetery.
