Jeanette (Fox) Fountain

Jeanette (Fox) Fountain, age 86, of San Augustine, passed from this life on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, in San Augustine. 

Jeanette was born to parents, Sadie (Wise) Fox and Cal Fox on November 2, 1937, in San Augustine County, Texas.  She was a homemaker, and was a member of the Attoyac Baptist Church. 

Those who are left to cherish her memory include daughters, Debbie Whisenhunt of San Augustine, Kathy Moore of Lufkin, Alice Whisenhunt of Tyler and son, Robert Whisenhunt of Etoile, 7 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.  

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sadie and Cal Fox and a son, Charles Ray Whisenhunt. 

A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 15, 2024, in the Wyman Roberts Memorial Chapel at 316 West Columbia Street in San Augustine, Texas.  Officiating will be Bro. Tim Swanson.
