Jennifer Lynn Davis

Jennifer Lynn Davis, age 68, of San Augustine, Texas, passed away Friday, May 29, 2026, at Longview Regional Medical Center in Longview, Texas.

Jennifer was born December 12, 1957, in San Augustine County, Texas, to parents Gordon "Smitty" and Peggy Butler Smith and was a lifelong area resident. She loved her family, especially doting on her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Jennifer's compassion was also shared as she often provided sitter service and help for the community's elderly and sick. She took great pride in flowers, with countless hours tending to her plants along with her animals.

Her survivors include her daughter, Thya Lindsey and her husband, Donald, of San Augustine, Texas; a son, Luther Davis III and his wife, Ashley, of Pollok, Texas; grandchildren, Anel Davis, Anthone Davis, Aidan Davis, Rylee Davis, Jayeda Davis, and Sunny Davis; great-grandsons, Eli Davis and Beau Davis; brothers, Jed Smith and Justin Smith; and host of other family, friends, and neighbors.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Lamar Davis Jr., in 2019; and her parents, Smitty and Peggy Smith.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 1:30 p.m. Monday, June 1, 2026, at Wyman Roberts Funeral Home, located at 316 W. Columbia Street in San Augustine, Texas.

A graveside service will follow at 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 1, 2026, at Liberty Hill Memorial Garden, located on Hwy. 147 North in San Augustine, Texas.
