Mr. William Jerry Wall, age 92, passed away Sunday, March 1, 2026, in Broaddus, Texas.
A Broaddus native, "Jerry" was born October 25, 1933, to parents Robert A. and Sarah A. "Sally" Wall and was a lifelong area resident. He was a great man of faith and served many years as a deacon at First Baptist Church, Broaddus. Jerry was also faithful to his country and served in the U.S. Air Force.
Mr. Wall worked several years with the U.S. Forest Service. He also put in many hours working at the Dairy Mart in Broaddus, owned and operated by the Wall family for many years.
His survivors include his daughter, Cindy Woodard and husband Dwight of Broaddus; a son, Danny Wall and wife Eve of Broaddus; daughters-in-law, Tish Wall and Tammy Wall; a sister, Barbara Hardy; 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Murline Wall, in 2025; sons, Jerry Alan Wall and Curtis Anthony "Tony" Wall; a granddaughter, Chelsea Harvey; and his siblings, Vertis Wall, Odell Wall, Janelle Rayburn, Margie Sanchez, and Judy Davis.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 12:00 noon Saturday, March 14, 2026, at First Baptist Church on Buchanan Street in Broaddus with Dr. Wayne Barth officiating.
