Jesse Franklin Koonce

Mr. Jesse Franklin Koonce was born February 16, 1964, to Willis and Rosie Koonce of San Augustine, Texas.

He passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2024, at his residence in Huntington, Texas.

Jesse loved to hunt and fish. He also loved anything gardening.

He is survived by his loving wife, Cathy Koonce of Huntington; daughter, Tabitha of Huntington; two grandsons, Grady and Landyn of Huntington; Daddy Dale Warr and Boudro Warr and wife Allison of San Augustine; and sisters, Martha Hughes of West, Texas, and Mary Singleton and husband Steve of Chireno, Texas.

Welcoming him to his heavenly home was his momma, daddy,and three sisters.

Visitation will be held 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 11, 2024, at Wyman Roberts Funeral Home, located at 316 W. Columbia in San Augustine.

A graveside service will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Macune Cemetery in San Augustine County.

Pallbearers: Boudro Warr, Landyn Lang, Bug Eye, Buddy Moore Sr., James Falcon, Keith Newton. 

Arrangements are under the direction of Wyman Roberts Funeral Home in San Augustine, Texas.
