Jimmy Earl Denby

Mr. Jimmy Earl Denby, age 61, of San Augustine, Texas, passed away Thursday, January 22, 2026, in San Augustine.

Jimmy was born May 6, 1964, in Germany to parents Weldon and Ruth (Szymaniak) Denby. He was a longtime resident of the San Augustine area and worked several years in the farming industry. Jimmy loved spending time with his family and hunting.

His survivors include his children, Heather Denby of Woden, Texas, Christina Denby of Nacogdoches, Texas, Justin Denby of San Augustine, Texas, and Hannah Mendez of San Augustine, Texas; grandchildren, Jacelynn Denby, Baileigh Maxie, Asher Duncan, Kole Denby, and Brilee Denby; sisters, Peggy Norton and husband Odis of Vidor, Texas, Heidi Bryan and husband Shane of San Augustine, Texas, and Tina Thompson of Florida; a brother, Horst Denby of Hemphill, Texas; and a host of other family, friends, and loved ones.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Pamela Dwire Denby; and his parents, Weldon and Ruth Denby.

Visitation will begin at 12:00 noon Thursday, January 29, 2026, at Wyman Roberts Funeral Home in San Augustine, Texas, with Bro. Kevin Windham officiating. Interment will follow at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Shelby County, Texas.
