John Wayne Sullivan

John Wayne Sullivan, age 62, of Broaddus, Texas, passed away Saturday, May 24, 2025, at his residence. 

John was born February 1, 1963, in San Augustine County, Texas, to parents Mary Elizabeth (Willey) and James Clark Sullivan. He was a longtime area resident and attended Broaddus School. John had worked most of his life in the logging industry of East Texas.

His survivors include his wife, Tommie Jean (Jacks) Sullivan of Broaddus, Texas; a son, Johnathan Sullivan of Broaddus, Texas; a daughter, Amber Sullivan of Shreveport, Louisiana; 8 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Clark Sullivan; mother, Mary Willey Sullivan; a sister, Delores Sullivan; and his brothers, James Sullivan and Brad Sullivan.

Services are planned for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 31, 2025, at Wyman Roberts Funeral Home Chapel in San Augustine, Texas. Committal service and interment will follow at Hebron Cemetery, located on County Road 4600 near Broaddus, Texas. 

Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 31, 2025, at the funeral home.

Pallbearers: Billy Riggs, Phillip Davis, Paul Weatherford, Trynton Allen, Corey Sullivan, and Jimmy Wayne Bryan.
