Johnnie Fay Loggins, age 83, of Many, Louisiana, passed away Saturday, November 23, 2024, at Christus Highland Hospital in Shreveport, Louisiana. She was born August 25, 1941, in San Augustine County, Texas.
Johnnie Fay was a lifelong retired registered nurse (RN) and member of Grace Missionary Baptist Church. She went into the arms of Jesus on Nov. 23, joining her parents, John Temple Loggins and Leona Harvey Loggins. Waiting there as well were her niece, Sherry Lynn Arthur and her baby Amy Lynn; her brother-in-law, Leonard Peveto; a nephew, Gary; and niece, Mary.
Her survivors include her only sister, Betty Peveto Carlisle of Coushatta, Louisiana; great-nephew, Brad Peveto and wife Sarah and their children, Hadley, Maggie, Molly, and Blaine; a niece-in-law, Beverly Peveto and children, Tiffany, Briana, Rachel, and Mandy; a great-nephew, Chris Peveto; great-great-nephew, Christopher Peveto; great-nieces, Taya, Passleigh, Kendall, and Ava; a great-great-great-nephew, Gaige; and a great-great-great-niece, Evangeline.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at Dickerson Cemetery, located on Country Road 4255, off FM 3279 in San Augustine County's Grapevine community, with Bro. James Morgan officiating.
