Mr. Johnny Burke Lott, 75, passed away peacefully on October 19, 2025, surrounded by family. Born on August 29, 1950, Johnny lived a life defined by love of family, service to his country, and a deep appreciation for the simple joys of life.
Johnny proudly served in the United States Army and was stationed in Okinawa, Japan, during the Vietnam War. A true patriot, he carried his sense of honor and loyalty throughout his life. He was an avid coin collector with a sharp eye for detail and a deep respect for history — a passion that reflected his curiosity and appreciation for the world around him.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Linda Kay Lott, and by his parents, J.B. Lott and Tommie Mae Wilkinson.
Johnny is survived by his children, Bridgette Rubin (Lott), Christine Pye (Lott), Johnny Lott II, Shawn Lott, Tommy Lott, and Amber Kratschmer (Lott); his sisters, Myra McGough and Jeanne McDonald; as well as numerous grandchildren who will carry forward his legacy of strength, humor, and unconditional love.
Johnny will be remembered for his unwavering devotion to family, his quick wit, and his steadfast pride in being an American. Those who knew him will never forget his generous spirit and the way he could make anyone feel at home.
Services are being planned for 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 30, 2025, at Wyman Roberts Funeral Home chapel with Bro. N.B. McBride III officiating. Committal service and interment will follow at Liberty Hill Cemetery in San Augustine, Texas
Pallbearers: Shawn Lott, Tommy Lott, Johnny Lott Jr., Roger McGough Jr., Robert Kratschmer III, and Bastion Lott.
