Kenneth Wayne Wilkinson

Mr. Kenneth Wayne Wilkinson, age 86, of San Augustine, Texas, passed away Thursday, January 4, 2024, at his residence.

Kenneth was born December 8, 1937, in San Augustine County to parents Ferman and Callie (Short) Wilkinson. He attended San Augustine School and was a member of the Methodist Church. Kenneth retired from the City of San Augustine and had been a truck driver.

His survivors include his sons, David Wilkinson and his wife, Rita, and Charles Amburn and his wife, Tammy; daughters, Lisa McCoy and her husband, James, and Donnie Thompson; and a host of grandchildren and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Wilkinson; parents, Ferman and Callie Wilkinson; daughters, Karen Amburn and Vickie Perez; grandsons, Kody Johnson and Charles Wayne Amburn Jr.; a brother, George; and sisters, Mildred, Mary, Bea, Dot, and Mabel.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 6, 2024, at Wyman Roberts Funeral Home, located at 316 W. Columbia Street in San Augustine, Texas.

Graveside services are set for 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 6, 2024, at Attoyac Cemetery, located at 600 FM 3316, San Augustine.
