LaNona Faye (Turner) Mosley

Mrs. LaNona Faye (Turner) Mosley, age 84, passed away Sunday, August 3, 2025, in San Augustine, Texas.

She was a faithful member of the church of Christ. "Faye" was a devoted wife, a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be remembered for the love she held for her family, and for her love of people in general. Her laughter, her influence, and her goodness will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, LeRoy and Ola Lee Turner; daughter, Cheryl Lynn Glisson; beloved husband of 61 years, Daniel O. Mosley; sister, Charlotte L. Gilbert.

She is survived by her daughters, Royce Ann (Stephen) Wiggins of San Augustine, TX, and Deana Faye (Donald Ray) Hoover of Daus, TN; son, Joel Ray Mosley of Spencer, TN; one granddaughter, Stephanie Pearl Glisson (Phi Do) of Louisville, KY; two grandsons, Austin (Jessica) Wiggins of Jonesboro, AR, and Wesley Wiggins of Nacogdoches, TX; two great-grandsons, Ethan Cole Wiggins and James Linton Wiggins; one great-granddaughter, Abigail Grace Wiggins; brother, Roy LaVaughn Turner of Dunlap, TN; brother-in-law, Charles A. Gilbert of Helena, AL; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. CDT, Saturday, August 9, 2025, in the Standefer & Reed Funeral Home chapel in Dunlap, TN, with Minister Joel Danley officiating. Burial will be in Collier Cemetery. 

Local arrangements were being handled by Wyman Roberts Funeral Home in San Augustine, Texas.
