Lawrence Jerry Simon

Lawrence Jerry Simon passed away Friday, September 23, 2022, at the age of 80 years.  He was born March 13, 1942, in Abbeville, LA to parents Alton and Audrey Simon who have preceded him in death.  He was also preceded in death by his wife Agnes Jean Simon on May 24, 2018.

He is survived by his daughters Terry Peltier husband Tommy, Tammy Garrett – husband Glenn, Tina McCray – fiancé Jr. and his son Rene – wife Val.  He was also blessed with 11 grandchildren, Jennifer (Kenneth), Matthew, Joseph (Brittany), Sherri (Russ), Nick (Stephanie), Shelby, Jessica (Beau), Haley (Jared), Tabitha, Jessica, and Stephanie and 18 great grandchildren, Audrey (fiancé Nick), Sidney, JT, Lilly, Gracie, Ryan, Elizabeth, Cody, Kacy, Andrew, Cooper, Lucas, Lizzy, Dakota, Chrislyn, Cadence, JJ, and Karson and 1 great-great granddaughter Ayla.  He is also survived by one brother, John Simon – wife Gladys and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He served in the U.S. Navy from 1959 to 1971.

Memorial services will be held October 15, 2022, at 2:00 P.M. at the Sabine Pass Community Center in Sabine Pass.
