Linda Marie Robbins

Mrs. Linda Marie Robbins, age 81, of Nacogdoches County, Texas, passed away Wednesday, June 4, 2025.

She was born June 10, 1943, in Houston, Texas, to parents John C. and Ester Imhof. Mrs. Robbins was a 1961 graduate of Waller High School and later received a bachelor’s degree in 1976 from Stephen F. Austin State University as well as a master’s in 1982 from SFASU. She devoted many years to education, having taught with the Central ISD from 1977 to 1980 as well as Nacogdoches ISD from 1980 to 1999. Following retirement from the school, she worked in her son’s law office until 2021.

Linda loved her family. She was a dedicated Christian and pastor’s wife. She was most recently a member of Alazan Congregational Methodist Church in the Alazan community.

Her survivors include her daughter, Stacy Waits (Jeff); a son, Paul Robbins (Claire); a sister, Sandra Reinhardt; brother, John C. Imhof, Jr., (Donna); her grandchildren, Taylor Waits, Stanton Waits (Sara), Annalisa Waits, Cavanaugh Waits, Anna Warren (TJ), Joel Redus (Michelle), Katie Blakemore (Caanan), and Ethan Robbins (Araya); and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Raymond L. Robbins; and her parents, John C. Imhof, Sr., and Ester Imhof.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 7, 2025, at Alazan Congregational Methodist Church, located at 9508 S. FM 225 in Nacogdoches County, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 7, 2025, at Alazan Congregational Methodist Church, with Rev. Robbyn Hunt and Dr. Jerry Jones officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, located on Hwy. 21, east of Nacogdoches.

Pallbearers: Stanton Waits, Taylor Waits, Joel Redus, Ethan Robbins, Ron Johnson, and Denny Bynog.
