Lisa Ann Shankland

Lisa Ann Shankland, age 67, of Broaddus, Texas, passed away on June 3, 2026, in Broaddus, Texas. 

Lisa was born November 24, 1958, in Lima, Ohio, to Lorna and Wesley Shankland. She was raised in Lima and graduated from Lima Shawnee High School. Following graduation, she moved to Columbus, Ohio, where she began a long and fulfilling career at Riverside Methodist Hospital.

Lisa dedicated her life to caring for others. She worked on the Vascular Thoracic Services floor and later with the Rapid Response Team, where she formed lasting friendships and earned the admiration of her coworkers. Healthcare was more than a job to Lisa. It was her passion. She devoted her career to helping patients and families through difficult times, providing compassionate care, comfort, and support whenever it was needed most.

She is survived by her son, Ben (Angela), and her beloved granddaughters, Reagan and Kennedy.

The family would also like to express their sincere gratitude to Shirley Parker of Broaddus, Texas, and the Biliran family of Columbus, Ohio for their kindness, love, friendship, and support during this difficult time.

A celebration of Lisa's life will be held at a later date in Westerville, Ohio. The family will share the specific date, time, and location once finalized.
