Michael "Brad" Allen Obituary

Mr. Michael Bradley "Brad" Allen of Chireno, Texas, passed away Monday, September 16, 2024, at his residence at the age of 55 years, 3 months, 13 days.

Brad was born June 3, 1969, in Center, Shelby County, Texas, to parents Rachel (Dennis) and Roy Roscoe Allen Sr. He was a longtime resident of Chireno and worked hard supporting his family. He had driven a log truck for many years. Brad had a great passion for music and enjoyed playing the guitar. He loved his family and especially adored the grandchildren.

His survivors include his wife, Sheila Allen of Chireno; his mother, Rachel Allen of Chireno; a brother, Roy Roscoe "Booger Red" Allen Jr. of Chireno; a son, Tony Perez Jr. and wife Mina of Hudson; daughters, Ginger Fowler and husband Daniel of Colmesneil, Candice Price and husband Jeff of Conroe, Constance "Fat Butt" Benedetti of Cushing, and Courtney "Tootie" Thornton of Chireno; a nephew Dakota "Ottis" Allen of Rosevine, nieces, Krystine Caldwell of Lufkin, and Sierra Grace and Cheyenne Allen, both of Montana; grandchildren, Austin, Taya, Keeley, Dylan, Raeleigh, Aja, Dominik, Dagan, Tucker, Colt, Asher, Allana, Nick, Allen, Jeff, Abby, Bam, Trey, Myles, and Isai; great-grandchildren, Coen, Seger, Deacon, Greenly, and Ezra (soon arriving); and a host of other family members, friends, and neighbors.

He was preceded in death by his father, Roy Roscoe Allen Sr.; a brother, Mark Tracy Allen; granddaughter, Leigh Anne Perez; great-granddaughter, Baby B; and a niece, Haley Cooper.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, September 19, 2024, at Wyman Roberts Funeral Home, located at 316 W. Columbia Street in San Augustine.

Funeral services are set for 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 20, 2024, at the Wyman Roberts Memorial Chapel with Charles Sharp and Dakota Allen officiating. Committal services and interment will follow at Attoyac Cemetery.

Pallbearers include Tony Perez Jr., Daniel Fowler, Dylan Fowler, Dakota Allen, Max Mangan, Jim Bo Welch. Honorary Pallbearers are Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren.
