Michael Keith Stringer of Pasadena, Texas, passed away on July 28, 2026.
He is remembered for his involvement in Boy Scout Troop 388, in Pasadena, where he served as a leader to his sons. As a longtime pipefitter and member of the Pipefitters Local Union 211, he worked in the commercial HVAC space for many years to provide for his family.
He graciously cared for his loving wife through their retired years and loved his grandkids and great-grandchildren without reservation.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 53 years, Elizabeth Wilynn; and his parents, Ennis Ovie and Margie of Zavalla, Texas.
He leaves behind his brother and sister-in-law, Barney and Barbara, of Rosenberg, Texas; sons and daughters-in-law, Michael Jr. and Sheli of Pasadena, Texas, Jack and Amanda of La Porte, Texas, and Jeremy and Jennifer of Pearland, Texas. He truly loved his grandchildren, Sierra and husband Colton, Preston and wife Carrie, Shayla, Jacob and wife Jacie, Jocelyn and husband Angel, Slade, Kase, Toby and wife Asa, Keenan and wife Kira, Judah, and Brayden, and his great-grandchildren, Ventus, Axel, Jordan, Jacob Jr., and Blake.
Please join us for visitation and remembrance services on August 8, 2026, at Wyman Roberts Funeral Home, 316 W. Columbia Street in San Augustine, Texas. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. and the service will commence at 2:00 p.m. followed by interment at the Attoyac Cemetery, located at 600 FM 3316 in San Augustine County, Texas.
