Mr. Randall Lennis Doyen, age 59, of San Augustine County, Texas, passed away suddenly Saturday, December 21, 2024, at CHI St. Luke's Medical Center in San Augustine.
Randall was born September 19, 1965, in Nacogdoches County, Texas, to parents Lennis Everett and Tiny B. (Holloway) Doyen and was a lifelong resident of the San Augustine area.
He became a certified nurse's aide and had worked at Twin Lakes Care Center. Randall had also worked on construction jobs and as a carpenter, brick mason. He had a great love for nature, and enjoyed woodworking, building things, and other outdoor jobs and activities.
Randall was a member of San Augustine County Cowboy Church, where he had joined and was baptized after giving his life to the Lord.
His survivors include his brothers, Robert Doyen of San Augustine, Texas, Russell Doyen and wife Shelly of Lufkin, Texas, Roy Doyen of San Augustine, Texas, and Richard Stacy Doyen of San Augustine, Texas; sisters, Ramona Erdman and husband Jeff of Highlands, Texas, and Tiny Lanette Doyen of San Augustine, Texas; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lennis and Tiny Doyen; a brother, Raymond Everett Doyen; nephew, Christopher Van Deventer; and a niece, Katherine Strunk.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 12, 2025, at the San Augustine Cowboy Church located at 539 FM 711 in San Augustine, Texas. Officiating will be Bro. Chris Burris.
