Sheila Diane (Rector) Allen

Sheila Diane (Rector) Allen, age 62, of Chireno, Texas, passed away Sunday, September 28, 2025, at her residence.

Born on January 12, 1963, in Nacogdoches, she was the daughter of Doris (Lane) Husband and Charles Rector and a lifelong area resident. Sheila loved her family and her life had revolved around her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and supporting them in all ways possible. 

Her survivors include her son, Tony Perez Jr. and wife Mina of Hudson, Texas; daughters, Ginger Fowler and husband Daniel of Colmesneil, Texas, Candice Price and husband Jeff of Conroe, Texas, Constance Benedetti of Cushing, Texas, and Courtney Thornton of San Augustine, Texas; grandchildren, Austin, Taya, Keeley, Dylan, Raeleigh, Aja, Dominik, Dagan, Tucker, Colt, Asher, Allana, Nick, Allen, Jeff, Abby, Bam, Trey, Myles, and Isai; great-grandchildren, Coen, Seger, Deacon, Greenly, and Ezra; her sister, Kathy Olvera and husband Urbano of San Augustine, Texas; mother-in-law, Rachel Allen of Chireno, Texas; brother-in-law, Roy Roscoe "Booger Red" Allen Jr. of Chireno, Texas; nephews, Aaron Ballenger, Frisco Olvera, Cordell Olvera, and Dakota "Otis" Allen; and nieces, Aheryka Potts, Krystine Caldwell, Sierra Grace, and Cheyenne Allen.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael "Brad" Allen, on September 16, 2024; her mother, Doris Husband; father, Charles Rector; granddaughter, Leigh Anne Perez; great-granddaughter, Baby B; and a niece, Haley Cooper.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, October 3, 2025, at Wyman Roberts Funeral Home, 316 W. Columbia Street in San Augustine, Texas.

Funeral services are set for 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 4, 2025, at Wyman Roberts Funeral Home chapel. Committal service and interment will follow at Attoyac Cemetery, located on FM 3316.

Pallbearers: Tony Perez Jr., Daniel Fowler, Dylan Fowler, Frisco Olvera, Phillip Scott, and Mack Montgomery. All grandchildren are honorary pallbearers.
