Steven Shirley

Mr. Steven Shirley, age 60, of Broaddus, Texas, passed away Saturday, November 1, 2025, at his residence.

He was born August 26, 1965, in Beaumont, Texas, to parents Tommy Frances (Sanders) and Otis Shirley. Steve grew up in Vidor, Texas, and graduated from high school there. He worked several years as a welder but his passion in life was outdoor activities, especially hunting and fishing.

His survivors include his wife, Rebecca Trinkle of Broaddus, Texas; daughter, Amanda McLemore of Broaddus, Texas; grandsons, Caysin Hamilton and Brody Barker, both of Lufkin, Texas; and his brothers, Brad Shirley and wife Donna of Milam, Texas, and David Shirley and wife Amy of Vidor, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Otis "Buster" and Frances Shirley; daughter, Ashley McLemore; and a sister, Cynthia "Sissy" Laramore.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at Wyman Roberts Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Tim Swanson officiating. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday.

Burial will be at Broaddus Cemetery.
