Tabatha Martin Blankenship, age 58, of Nacogdoches County, Texas, passed away April 2, 2026, in Tyler, Texas.
A longtime resident of the Black Jack area of Nacogdoches County, Tabatha was born January 24, 1968, in Pasadena, Texas, to parents Linda Marie (Langley) and Ike Woodrow Martin. She had worked as a hairdresser.
Tabatha and Kenneth Blankenship were married July 25, 1986, in Lufkin, Texas. She loved her family and had a great sense of humor. She also had a great love for animals and was faithful in her care and compassion of the family’s many pets throughout the years.
She was a dedicated Christian. Tabatha was a faithful member of Impact Cowboy Church of Nacogdoches County, serving in many roles, capacities, and ministries of the church.
Her survivors include her husband of nearly 40 years, Kenneth Blankenship of Black Jack; a son, Dusty Blankenship of Black Jack; a sister, Lisa Langley of Chireno, Texas; brother, Larry Langley of Dallas, Texas; and host of nieces, nephews, and other loved ones.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Linda and Ike Woodrow Martin; a brother, Ike Woodrow Martin Jr.; and a sister, Brenda James.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at Impact Cowboy Church, located at 415 FM 2112, Nacogdoches, with Pastor Stan King and Pastor Rex Crenshaw officiating. Committal service and interment will follow at Black Jack Cemetery, located on County Road 350.
Visitation will be held during the hour prior to the service.
Pallbearers: Pat Shaw, Mark Green, Ken Reed, Ron Hancock, Hunter Moore, and Bryan Loudenslager.
