Travion "Tra" Fountain

Travion Akeem "Tra" Fountain, age 12, of Center, Texas, passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2026, in The Woodlands, Texas.

Tra was born September 17, 2013, in Lubbock County, Texas. He had lived in the Center area for the past few years.

His survivors include his parents, Tracee Fountain and Catherine Fountain of Center, Texas; a sister, Amelia Fountain of Center, Texas; grandparents, Kim Fountain of Bronson, Texas, Darrenn Fountain of San Augustine, Texas, Gina Evett of San Augustine, Texas, Ron Sharp of Center, Texas, and Terry Jefferson of Gibsland, Louisiana; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and other loved ones.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 24, 2026, at Spring Ridge Cemetery in San Augustine County, Texas, with Darrenn Fountain "Paw Paw" officiating.

Tra's family wishes to express a special "thank you" to his nurses for the exceptional care they provided. They include Kurtis Cougler, LaTonya Brooks, Jill Ray, and Megan Adkinson, who are serving him as pallbearers.
